Planning your retreat should feel simple, peaceful, and clear. At Sahara Yoga Retreat, our booking and payment policy explains how to reserve your place, how payments work, and what happens if you need to make changes before your journey.
This policy also helps you understand our cancellation terms, travel insurance advice, personal responsibility, and privacy rules before joining your retreat in the Moroccan Sahara.
How to Book Your Sahara Yoga Retreat
First, we plan your retreat details together, including your preferred dates, group size, accommodation, transport, and retreat program.
After that, to confirm your place, please send us an email with the full names of all participants. If you already booked your flights, you can also include your flight details so we can help organize your arrival and transfer arrangements.
Once we receive your confirmation, we will send you the available payment options and your retreat booking details.
Deposit and Final Payment
To secure your reservation, a 30% deposit of the total retreat cost is required at least 5 weeks before arrival.
After receiving your deposit, we will confirm your booking and send you the necessary details for your retreat.
The remaining balance can be paid when you arrive in Morocco, unless another payment agreement has been made in advance.
Please note that your booking is only confirmed after the deposit has been received.
Payment Methods
To make the booking process easier, Sahara Yoga Retreat may accept different payment methods, depending on availability.
Payment options may include:
- Credit card
- Bank transfer
- PayPal, if available
- Western Union
- MoneyGram
- Postal transfer
- Cash payment on arrival for the remaining balance
In addition, the remaining balance may be paid in cash on the first day of your retreat in Morocco.
Cancellation Policy
If you need to cancel your Sahara Yoga Retreat booking, please contact us by email at: saharayogaretreat@gmail.com
The date of your email will be used as the official cancellation date.
Our cancellation terms are:
- More than 30 days before arrival: €70 processing fee
- Between 30 and 21 days before arrival: 25% of the deposit amount
- Between 20 and 8 days before arrival: 50% of the deposit amount
- Less than 8 days before arrival: 100% of the total retreat cost
If Sahara Yoga Retreat Cancels the Retreat
Sometimes, unexpected situations such as weather, safety concerns, road conditions, or other events beyond our control may require us to cancel or change a retreat.
In this case, we will offer you an alternative option whenever possible. If no suitable alternative is available, we will provide a refund according to the situation. However, Sahara Yoga Retreat does not provide extra compensation for additional travel costs, flights, or personal expenses.
Changes to Your Booking
If you want to change your retreat booking, please contact us at least one month before your arrival.
For example, you may want to extend your stay, add extra nights, include more participants, or request additional services. In these cases, we will only charge the cost of the extra services.
Whenever possible, we will do our best to help you adjust your booking smoothly.
Claims and Complaints
If you wish to make a complaint or claim, please send it to us in writing before leaving Morocco.
This allows us to understand the situation clearly and offer support while you are still here. As a result, we can respond more effectively and try to resolve the matter in the best possible way.
Guest Responsibility During the Retreat
Sahara Yoga Retreat takes place in natural and remote desert areas. Therefore, each guest must follow the instructions of the guide, retreat team, drivers, and facilitators during the journey.
Guests are responsible for their personal behavior, belongings, and participation in activities such as yoga, meditation, walking, camel trekking, and desert travel.
Sahara Yoga Retreat cannot accept responsibility for accidents, injuries, loss, or damage caused by unsafe, careless, or disrespectful personal behavior.
Travel Insurance
We strongly recommend that every guest has personal travel insurance before joining a Sahara Yoga Retreat.
Your insurance should ideally cover:
- Medical expenses
- Travel assistance
- Trip cancellation
- Repatriation
- Lost or stolen luggage
- Travel delays
- Outdoor and desert activities
Although our team does everything possible to provide a safe and well-organized experience, travel insurance gives you extra protection and peace of mind.
Protection of Personal Information
We respect your privacy and protect your personal information.
Your details are used only to organize the retreat services you request, such as bookings, transport, accommodation, meals, and communication before your arrival.
We do not sell your personal information. However, we may share limited details with trusted local partners when necessary to organize your retreat.
You also have the right to request access, correction, or deletion of your personal information.
